Silence in Oxford

“Silence is the eloquent expression of the inexpressible.”

- Sri Chinmoy [1]

The Fellowship of Reconciliation offer a weekly period of silence, every Thursday at 1.15pm to 1.35pm.

“Stillness peace is something we propose to work on together; something that is shared in the depth of human experience across the traditions.”

From: Stillness in the city.

The event takes place at Peace House on Paradise Street in the centre of Oxford.

Crocus Flowers

St John’s College is one of Oxford University’s most prestigious colleges; it was founded in 1555 and is reputed to be one of the wealthiest colleges.
