May is one of the best times to be in Oxford. May Day Celebrations are one of the great traditions of Oxford and May is one of the most significant months in the University calender. It is traditionally the main exam month before the long summer vacation. May is also a time when the city is most beautiful with the trees having opened their leaves and many flowers in blossom.
